the annex at whitehall cottage is truly a gem. our second stay was even better than the first, as the hosts went above and beyond to ensure a special birthday celebration. from the thoughtful handrail to the freshly baked bread, every detail was impeccable. we felt incredibly welcome and looked after. highly recommended.

Wifi was a bit spotty.

Lovely little annex with a garden, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The free private parking was a bonus. The apartment had everything I needed, including a dining area and kitchenette.

Oh, what a shame that the towels were available! I mean, who needs towels anyway?

We were disappointed by the lack of outside privacy and the deteriorating outdoor furniture. the breakfast provided was quite basic and could have offered a wider variety of options.

We especially appreciated the fan that was provided to keep the room cool during the hot weekend. The hosts were also very thoughtful, as they had installed a handrail to assist my fiancé with the steps to the bathroom. Additionally, we were welcomed with freshly baked bread and a lovely presentation of towels with chocolates. The hosts maintained regular contact before our arrival and provided us with all the necessary information. The breakfast provided was excellent, with a variety of options including bacon, eggs, bread, muesli. it was a peaceful and delightful stay.

The Annex At Whitehall Cottage provided a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchenette for our short stay. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, offering help whenever needed. The view onto the garden was lovely.

We also experienced some noise from the main house through the connecting door. However, these were minor inconveniences.
